Why were you in such a hurry? Why couldn't you let the Go team take care of this? You bypassed now both code reviews and uploaded despite failing CI. I am glad you put work into this but it would have been more collaborative if you simply added a code review comment or gave feedback that Go team should prioritize the security fix or importing the latest upstream release.
