Dear Otto et al., Personally I am in support of the suggestions, especially no. 3 (only touch debian/*) - this makes things a lot cleaner and more in line with how other Debian teams do things. I don't fully understand the implications of the Salsa CI changes, but it sounds from other responses in this thread that there are no significant issues there either.
Please update the documentation at https://go-team.pages.debian.net/ too; I found this really useful when first starting with packaging Go software, and I will no doubt refer to it many times in future! Best wishes, Sebastian
