I have only suggested to share experience and possibly code. The advices I have received from you and others may be found at https://wiki.debian.org/PackagingLessCommonBinutilsTargets binutils-or1k and gcc-or1k packages are mostly ready, I should push them to salsa soon. newlib seems more tricky and I will not be able to work on it before weeks at the very least.
