I replaced default-libmysqlclient-dev with libmariadb-dev-compat in B-D for one of my packages and also added separate autopkgtests to test its MySQL backend with both MariaDB and MySQL. However, lintian considers mysql-server an obsolete package and complains with a warning: W: gnustep-sqlclient source: testsuite-depends-on-obsolete-package Depends: mysql-server => default-mysql-server N: N: The testsuite depends on a package that has been superseded. If the N: superseded package is part of an ORed group, it should not be the first N: package in the group. N: N: Visibility: warning N: Show-Always: no N: Check: testsuite Please consider patching lintian to avoid such warnings, perhaps even reversing these checks to assist your migration plan. Thanks!
