Dear Ondřej, I am planning a Policy update by the end of the month. My understanding of the current discussion is that the idea of a virtual package for authoritative domain name servers is being rejected because it is too hard to define, while a virtual package for recursive domain name servers would be welcome provided that you can define it more precisely. If that is also your conclusion, do you think that you could write such a definition and get it discussed by the end of October ? Otherwise, while a consensual change can be quiclkly commited, it will take more time before it is released. In any case, once you have a precise proposition, please open a bug on the Policy.
