In general I am for discussing things without taboos, but if Debian had only one, I think it should be about never calling for peoples heads. We have an expulsion procedure for DDs who harm the project, and those who are not willing or not able to start this procedure should not gratuitously invite DDs to leave. And yes, this is one of the cases where it is good to underline loudly that your opinion does not matter because you are not a a member of the Debian project.
