For me, something that imposes on us decisions that are forcing: - move to /usr and no chances to change this - configuration files outside /etc just because of internal limitations of RPM, which goes against our policy manual - incompatibility with anything else than Linux, and not even a chance that upstream accept patches to change this Add this a "hostile upstream", and it becomes more a threat than an anything else, even if it's technically better and with more features than any other init system. Sure, OpenRC doesn't have (yet) all the features of systemd. But because of the above, it might be worth to *at least* give it a chance.
