Hi Clint, I have made a new version of the package (both libdbi and libdbi-drivers 0.8.3), can you please test it? It's available here:
http://ftparchive.gplhost.com/pub/libdbi/sid/ I unfortunately don't use this package myself, I maintain it mainly because I know that it's useful for others (as per the popcon score), so it'd be hard for me to test it... Please test it, and let me know if this fixed your issue, and if the package seems working as expected. When you tell me it ran ok at least once for what you use (rrdtool), I will upload to SID and ask for a Squeeze freeze exception.
