xscreensaver: 22:46:09: WARNING: RANDR and Xinerama report different
xscreensaver: 22:46:09: screen layouts! Believing RANDR.
(I'm not sure what that could mean, given that I only have one monitor
and it occurs even if I haven't ever changed the resolution.)
What it means is, there's a bug in the nvidia driver's implementation
of RANDR extension that xscreensaver 5.07 works around but 5.05 didn't.
