Hmm, in my case I get a slightly different error: Generating postscript images using dvips ... This is dvips(k) 5.96.1 Copyright 2007 Radical Eye Software (www.radicaleye.com) /usr/bin/dvips: ! DVI file can't be opened. Error: Bad file descriptor [...] > \usepackage[pdftex]{graphicx} Removing the option pdftex here solves the problem for me.
