In my experience, the longer the text, the less likely people are to
read it. Sad fact of life; we generally have to take into effect people
who are skimming through the entire install.

Ok. BTW, can you shed any light on whether we still need to install
xprint as part of a default debian desktop install (see thread on
debian-devel).
