The sad truth is there is already a note in the README files. In fact this particular README is title README.printing-problems. People don't read the READMEs either. But that doesn't stop them complaining when their printer does not work. That's why I put the debconf question there in the first place. I didn't want to have to, I thought the README and the FAQ were pretty bloody clear enough about the problem. That also explains why the debconf question is so long. I wanted to make sure these users got the message. If they read neither the debconf question, nor the README, nor the FAQ, then what can we do? (Apart from coding up a dynamic reading of the settings - on the TODO list...). But you're right, the text can probably be reduced. I only made it long because I was thoroughly annoyed and wanted to be sure the point was made. As for the priority, I'm happy to change it for you :) Drew p.s. are you sure you two are not twins? #298956...#298959... -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
