Alright, I've been running the patched 7.1.5 kernel for about 36 hours now and it seems to resolve all of the issues. I've been through numerous sleep and wake cycles, numerous monitor sleep events, and I've had zero crashes. Based on having previously run the unpatched 7.1.5 kernel, it seems safe to me to say that 062499cc4813 fixes it.
