I've forgotten to mention that with Gitg-3 it comes down to up to 10 seconds
delay after start before UI appears. In the other words I'd say that Gitg-3
did not pass my QA testing yet...
It is instantaneous on my machine (Haswell laptop). I cannot tell the
difference between gitg 0.2.x and gitg 3.17.x startup speed.
