Thank you for reporting this issue to Debian. AppArmor has been continuously working fine for me on sid since Wheezy was released, so I am surprised. On boot, my kernel tells me: AppArmor: AppArmor initialized AppArmor: AppArmor Filesystem Enabled > rules are ok, but it's impossible to control it - it complains that > no compitablity patch is in kernel, or it not have enough rules. May you please confirm you're running an up-to-date Debian testing, and tell us exactly: * how you're trying to enable AppArmor * what is happening * the output of: dmesg | grep -i apparmor | head -n 5 Thanks in advance!
