I'm surprised to read this: AppArmor has been working fine for me on
Debian sid + experimental's kernel (currently with 3.9.5-1 kernel +
2.7.103-4 userland, but this has been true at least with 3.7.x and
3.8.x too).

FTR, when I nagged him about this a week or so ago, Kees told me he
was going to get in touch with upstream about this.
