This patch still applies, with minor offsets, to current debian-startup.el. However, "emacs -q" gives me the same load-path as a result, regardless of whether this patch is applied or not. Any idea what's happening? Hence, I'm removing the "patch" tag. Of course, feel free to correct me if I misunderstood the intended effects of the patch.
