I think we've ended up with the typical result from a design-by-committee :) A list of far too many questions. For budgeting purposes, wouldn't the following be sufficient? [ ] Plan to attend DebCamp [ ] Plan to attend DebConf [ ] Will require sponsorship This gives us an idea of percentages of attendees wanting to attend DebCamp, and percentages needing sponsorship. That's about the best we're going to get out of pre-reg, right? And then some question about accompanying family members. I'm imagining that this is going to have to be a list of email addresses. Those would then get promoted to full-blown accounts later, if they need it, and we implement it. Requiring e-mail addreses for babies sucks. But for a faraway DC16, I'm guessing there won't be many. And implementation-wise, it's the simplest.
