But JP> pop3-before-smtp doesn't work, because stunnel make new connection JP> to dbmail and dbmail receive localhost (127.0.0.1) address and set JP> it in mySQL to relay. If the client is using stunnel to send mail as well as retrieve it, then you only need to have 127.0.0.1 listed in $mynetworks in Postfix. This assumes that only a legitimate client would be able to establish an stunnel connection... POP-before-SMTP is only necessary (or desirable) when you have no other way to authenticate the client who needs to relay. In my case, anything sent over a VPN connection will appear as a private network address (192.168.x.x), so those ranges are explicitely named in $mynetworks, with the pbsp authentication listed LAST. -- Jeff Brenton President, Engineered Software Products, Inc http://espi.com Questionable web page: http://dididahdahdidit.com Liberalism grants you the freedom to advocate any idea*. * Please see http://www.dididahdahdidit.com/except.php for a current list of exceptions _______________________________________________ Dbmail mailing list Dbmail@dbmail.org https://mailman.fastxs.nl/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
