is it really possible that dbmail [imapd] needs 1 min and 35 sec to
delete/expunge 30 small mails [<1kB]?
although i love the idea of both dbmail and imap i really think about
changing over to pop3 due to performance reasons if it wont get better.
displaying a mail takes almost 40 seconds. i get about 100mails per day
(most of them are from postfix, dbmail or various admin tools) and its
ugly to delte them cause it takes to long.
could you give me some hints to speed up the system? could it be that
the hardware is to slow?
my config:
postfix + dbmail + mysql
linux 2.4.13
p2-450,
265 mb ram,
SOFTRAID1 (3x20gigs)!
