Thanks, but I'm ok with my setup right now. I tried installing nv- drivers
and i just had problems. Maybe when I setup a new computer I will try again.

but for my original topic, I am just interested in the process on why there
is processing done every time the crop frame is adjusted (before
finalizing). for a normal person i do not see why there has to be, you are
merely adjusting the visual element and not the actual module ( not until
the end where you actually finalize the crop)
