I had a look at the log message and cross-referenced with HotSpot, and I also went digging in the commit messages, but I could not find anything fruitful. Considering it uses a wildcard and does not reference `sun.reflect.ConstantPool` or `jdk.internal.reflect.ConstantPool` leads me to believe this might be something else, most likely dead code.
