By the way, this principle is true in just about every aspect of life.
A few years ago I lived in Florida and played tennis every day.    There
were certain players,  usually the "old-timers" who just didn't make
mistakes.    You could easily whiz balls past them, outrun them,  ace
them and so on.    

You just couldn't beat them.
