@SEZ9 thanks. #13023 implements exactly this; it was opened before your comment. - The type name is normalized before the switch: trimmed, cut at `(`, and upper cased with `Locale.ROOT`, so `decimal(10, 2)` reaches the `DECIMAL` branch. - `BINARY` and `VARBINARY` map to `PrimitiveByteArrayType.INSTANCE`. - The new `DatabendCatalogTest` feeds `decimal(10, 2)` and `binary` into `convertDatabendType` and asserts the SeaTunnel types, and repeats the mapping under `tr-TR` and `az-AZ`.
