Thanks for the detailed review. Commit 8ac260668 fixes the two inline findings and adds regression tests for the late cache fill and both unsupported-version paths; the targeted suites pass (42 tests). I also corrected the stale post-write-check sentence in the PR description. I have left the suggested schema/topic/view dispatcher interleaving tests and explicit change-log DROP assertion for a separate follow-up; those cases are not claimed as newly tested here.
