Further checking with the real Hadoop configuration builder and an isolated default resource showed that a fallback can be inherited even when the statement's normalized map has no such entry. Cross-mount glob traversal can visit that fallback before the returned-path check. Therefore checking the inline remote mounts alone does not establish the effective remote route. The tentative early-success branch was removed before commit. This PR keeps the previously documented fail-closed policy for unproven/inherited Hadoop read routes, including when LOCAL is enabled. An explicit remote fs.viewfs.mounttable.<table>.linkFallback is supported and tested alongside remote mounts; missing, local and empty routes remain rejected. The PR description now states the limitation. No new configuration loader, filesystem override or generic Hadoop behavior change is added. All 55 selected FE tests pass. This disposition preserves the safety boundary; it does not claim to restore the original no-fallback example. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
