Try blowing out the intake in case there is blockage there. Here is one I cause I fumbled upon. I used a thicker gasket on the face plate on the pump rather than the Yanmar paper gasket. That resulted in the impeller not seating tight against the face plate and loss of pump flow. One more item to check. No water is getting to heat exchanger which is first thing downstream of pump. Disconnect the hose from the discharge of the pump or the inlet to the exhaust elbow. Start the engine and observe if you have flow. -- Dennis C. Pump shaft turning fine. Replaced impeller. Still not pumping water. Has anyone had a priming problem? My current hypothesis is that either the pump is not self priming or the seacock is partially plugged limiting flow. Water comes into raw water strainer with lid off but no idea if it is normal rate or not. Dave Your contributions help pay the fees associated with this list and help to keep it active.
