There was a recent Practical Sailor article and video concerning a blocked raw water intake and how to clear it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lw6qttgBeFo). In the Comments, someone pointed to the Aqualarm water flow sensor (https://aqualarm.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=3) which will alert you if your raw water input is blocked. It presumably would let you know there is a problem long before the engine overheat alarm would sound. I am considering whether to add this device ($100) and wondering if anyone had any experience with it. Dave
