I used to have that same fixed 2 blade prop on my boat years ago. At the time on flat water I'd get 5.9 @ 2800 RPM. I changed to a 2 blade geared Varifold 15 x 10 and I now get 6.1 @ 2800 on flat water. I’m not expecting to motor at 8-9 knots like a big sailboat but I do expect to be closer to the 30-footer hull speed of around 6.7 kts.
