Tom,
I was able to get some info on the bilge pump....it was designed and made by Henderson Pumps Ltd, England....I will investigate them but if you have any thoughts, fell free.

If it's a whalegusher here are rebuild kits that will make it good as new.

The manual bilge pump on my 1984 C&C 32 has failed .....have yet to crawl into
the locker to see if I can see its name and model #....it appears to a somewhat
large black apparatus. Assuming the diaphragm has failed.
Assuming if taken apart, the diaphragm might be replaced? However, given the
age of the old bilge pump. would it even be possible? And where would i get a
replacement diaphragm?
Would it be simply better to get a replacement, however, removing the existing pump from
the approximately 4"to 5" hole in the side wall of the cockpit and getting one
to fit exactly the same size might be a challenge.

Any experience or advice greatly appreciated!

PS: I also have an electric bilge pump but would feel safer if the manual one
worked.
