Revisiting an old topic. While at the Annapolis boat show I talked to the Mantus rep about his swivel. He said his was not designed to rotate the anchor to the proper orientation for the bow roller, but that Ultra made one that was. He pointed out that the Ultra did not use a shackle, so when the boat spins the load is on the swivel jaw. I looked at the Ultra swivel and saw what he was talking about. The swivel for anchors from 44 to 77 pounds is $500. I'll keep the boat hook handy when hauling the anchor.
