I believe Robertson but maybe Phillips. I can say with certainty that you
won’t want to reuse the old screws so you could just use a drill from the
inside to remove if need be. You will likely want to drill a slightly
oversized hole in the teak legs and plug each with a hardwood dowel. Also I
recall having to punch holes in the butyl tape on reassembly in order to
allow the new ss screws to pass through without twisting the tape. I had 2
helpers when i put the handrails back on and I still have not put the teak
plugs in the interior hand rails. Every so often I tighten the screws down
a little more and the butyl compresses and goes beyond the teak. That is
easily removed with a jack knife
