All this rub rail talk makes me jealous. My 42 Custom has no rub rail. It does have several scrapes and gouges, however.

Replacement requires lifting the deck off the hull. Not a job lightly undertaken. Even splicing in a short section would be more job than I want to tackle right now if a quick cosmetic fix works.
