I had this earlier in the year, no water coming out, temperature alarm went off. Checked impeller, pump etc and all looked good. Figured it had to be outside the strainer, I disconnected (keeping the end of the pipe above waterline!) and used the bellow pump from my inflatable dinghy to blow down the pipe, whatever it was it cleared it out.

Nothing out the exhaust. I checked the intake and the pump. Both seem fine. But, there seems to be no flow at the strainer. I am wondering if there is some maintenance needed for the vented loop?
