When my Xantrex TrueCharge blew (not the breaker or fuse) the only thing we could attribute/correlate it to was having the breaker on while plugging in the shore power. Didn't make much sense and to me was a clear indication of the poor build quality. Never specifically tried to recreate with the ProMariner but I'm sure it has happened.
