Thanks Dave; we just replaced the hatches with new, so I don't think they 
reverse... however, I'll check and see; the midship hatch is used for 
ventilation only so it isn't much of a issue...

Getting rid of the verdamte topping lift is such a wonderful thing, and the 
Garhauer vang is such a bargain. Guido made custom brackets for the mast base
