Last year I installed new B&Gs on Masquerade and I have to say I am delighted with them. They seem much more sailor-oriented than the Raymarine instruments I had on Peregine. There are a few functions I use all the time, like the graphing function on the wind speed and direction that allows me to keep track of trends and the laylines have been useful on the two races I've done and for when I'm trying to decide when to tack for a mark when I'm cruising. I love the clarity of the plotter and the fact it, like the Raymarine, broadcasts on wifi so my nav table plotter can be just a simple iPad.
