Unfortunately you probably don’t want to know. I suspect boats prior to 1988 also have the same type of heli-arc’d plate permanently affixed to the chainplate. I just finished up re-installing mine a couple of weeks ago and it involved 14 1/2” bolts per chainplate, 3 loose aluminum plates (wait until you try to get the first under-deck one to line up with the six 1/4”-20 machine screws) and the shrouds removed.
