Danny, When my buddy and I install Harken furlers, all the fasteners get red threadlocker. That may be why the fasteners on the torque tube are tight.
Touche' has a Harken Size 1 Mk III that was installed in 1999. Still works great. My buddy and I routinely replace other brands with Harkens. Dennis C.
