On the 34 (like my current 42), the traveler and main sheet are located at the companionway. This means someone needs to be dedicated to the position (that is, the driver can’t handle it without leaving the wheel). If a crew member must attend to the main any way, the traveler controls are right there and easily operated. I did not see much benefit for the high price.

As they say in their ads, once you raced with one, you would never go back. If you are cost conscious, go for Garhauer; there is hardly better value (not to mention that they usually bend over backwards to accommodate your needs).
