Yes, I believe the first one was referred to as a Redline 40.

1977 through 1984 40.   It is actually a 40-2 as there was a much earlier 40 
model.

  Has anyone seen this boat?
  Two things come to mind, one is the bow pulpit looks bent and the second is 
outside of cardboard, I cannot image a worse material for a holding tank then 
aluminum!
