Probably need to drill a hole thru the deck--on my 1995 XL/kcb the guard just stopped at the deck--no holes underneath the SS tubbing.

As far as I can tell, without taking it all apart, the guard ends on the deck above the aft cabin and there is no access point to that area. But, I may be wrong. Anyone?
