Flipped my dinghy with outboard on transom in a sudden blow once. Nothing
else in it. Worst part was having to bring it alongside and right it.

Flushed and cleaned outboard. Still using it today.

Another time in a prolonged storm (40-55 knots breeze), we motored with the
dink short tethered in the lee of the boat's transom. It rode happily
there until the blow passed.
