I want to say we had Boat US at the > time. Might want to make inquiry with your agent. Might be worth a shot. I had a similar insurance experience with a truck. Driving on the Interstate when I heard a bang and the cab filled with smoke. The truck went completely dead, the flashers wouldn't even work. Managed to coast to the shoulder and get it towed to a garage. Turns out the alternator voltage spiked and destroyed much of the electrical system, $5500 worth of damage. Insurance paid for all except alternator and deductible under the comprehensive portion of the policy. Dennis C. Touche' 35-1 #83 Mandeville, LA
