15 inches sounds a bit much for a 30 but I'd try it for a while before I make any change. If you don't see a lot of weather helm in stiff breezes, don't worry about it.
I have 11-12 inches rake on my 35-1 and really like the way it sails. Fairly neutral helm. And that's with a fairly old main. Dennis C.
