Speaking of instruments - - I have an old Nexus (NX1?) system. It works.
But...some damn (large) bird decided to perch on my wind instrument on the top
of the mast. He/she broke off the vane of the wind direction part. I found it
on the deck, but am unsure about trying to reattach it - glue? a light weight
stiffener? I dunno.

Does anyone have such an old relic sitting around in their boat bin? I would
rather replace the vane than try to repair it.

Thanks for looking.

  Chuck,

  I feel a little like a vulture.

I am still trying to keep my KVH system alive, so if you are replacing stuff,
let me know. I am particularly interested in buying any working dual displays.

    Hi Fred,

Thanks for both the input and the offer. I get what you are saying,
regarding function. And I'll give that some thought.
I like the analog look for wind, just a sucker for a more classic look.
Plus I've got space to fill if I take out the old stuff, so extra displays are
ok. And my lovely bride wouldn't change the info by leaning up against it,
like she always does now.
I guess I've got some figuring to do... Almost April, then one month to
splash.

    Thanks,
