Twice I have seen recently repainted boats (one a Catalina, one a Hunter) who put C&C stars under the toe rail. Then there was a Taiwan knock-off (I think they bought a boat and made a mold from the hull) and I was pretty sure it was a C&C 40 knock-off but the owner assured me it was 'just like a Swan only cheaper' and so I left him to his beer.

It's good to see the original stars shine.

It’s actually a Cassian/Cuthbertson design built by Whitby Boatworks in Ontario 
(1969 Whitby 45).
