So I got a good deal on a used dodger, and now I have to install it. Never
having done this before I am a little intimidated at the prospect of drilling
another 25 holes in the deck and maybe not getting them in the right place the
first time. Anyone have any experience that they would like to share along this
line? The canvas is secured to the deck with "lift the dot" fasteners.
The traveller is on the bridge deck, so that limits how far back I can
mount the dodger, so getting the bow mounts positioned is the first thing, but
even that raises questions. How much back angle on the bow? Will this become
apparent if I put the canvas on it?
It is a Natty dodger, with one main bow, and one "daughter" bow mounted to
the main on slides.
Any helpful advice, or a pointer to procedural methods would be
appreciated.
