Oh yeah, I see that stuff drifting around too often in the Sea of Cortez, as well as Styrofoam blocks with rope around them. I have heard that the rope is attached to a vacuum sealed bundle that's hanging down in the water. Sail away fast, and pretend you don't see it. I don't know if anyone's watching, and I don't want to know. I'm here for fresh air, sunshine, cheap tacos and to spend my money supporting local businesses like Opticians, Dentists, Grocery Stores, Hardware Stores, as well as boat maintenance workers, laundry people, and tequila stores. (The tequila distiller association really likes me, and I've been told that I've been nominated for an award at the next annual meeting.)
