Chuck, Have you considered City Island? My club has plenty if deep water, active racing (with plenty of other racing nearby -- Manhasset Bay, American YC, Can One, etc)
My club, which you are familiar with: www.morrisybc.com. You could probably get your hands in a used mooring for dirt cheap. New clubhouse, great grounds, quite a few C&C's in the area too. ...
